Crossing the chasm: from operator to 10 Years at Up

A little over 10 years ago, I was asked a question that changed the direction of my career.

Courtney brings a breadth of experience across executive search and leadership advisory, with a strong focus on technology and high-growth businesses.

We’re delighted to welcome Rosie Samuels and Steph Tyrrell to The Up Group, joining as Head of Marketing & Growth and Head of Events.

On a characteristically wet and windy British morning, we traded laptops for wellies and headed to the Surrey countryside for Up’s first-ever team retreat.

Mental Health Awareness Week took place from 9th to 15th May. Organised by the Mental Health Foundation, this year’s official theme was ‘loneliness’.

At The Up Group, we are proud to be supporting Hope and Homes for Children, an international charity working to stop the institutionalisation of children. They close orphanages, support care reform and help overhaul child protection across the world.
