The 2021 Digital Masters Awards Highlights

On November 16th, we hosted our eighth Digital Masters Awards at the Tate Modern, London. The DMAs are the digital talent awards for Europe, celebrating the individual and their contribution to this amazingly dynamic sector. The awards are about showcasing incredible talent, uniting our network, and providing the benchmark for excellence in digital leadership. On the night, 400 of Europe’s tech executives came together to celebrate these individuals and to reconnect the tech ecosystem once more.

The Green Cube trophies were awarded to 12 exceptional leaders including Poppy Gustafsson, CEO of Darktrace, being awarded CEO of the Year, and Yuelin Li from Onfido taking the award for Rising Star. The Up Group also introduced a new award category this year to celebrate those who have committed their time to help establish the European landscape into what it is today, in the form of the ‘Services to the Industry’ award. Robin Klein was the extremely worthy winner of this Green Cube.

This year’s guestlist consisted of Europe’s top companies that are driving the tech and digital ecosystem.

On the night, we hosted a silent auction to raise money for our charity partners: Beam and charity: water. Due to the generosity of the DMAs 2021 attendees, The Up Group raised £18,124.32 for these amazing tech-for-good charities.

We would also like to thank AMS and our Digital Masters partners OrrickSilverpeak & Silicon Valley Bank for their continued loyalty.
