Anca is a Managing Partner at The Up Group, co-leading the firm and heading the Consumer Digital practice. She partners with founders, boards and investors to build leadership teams that unlock growth and navigate moments of real transformation, across Europe and beyond.

She is drawn to organisations at pivotal moments, from high-growth, investor-backed scale-ups challenging incumbents to global corporates reinventing themselves. Her work spans growth, marketing and commercial leadership through to general management, product, data and technology. She also partners with boards on critical governance and transformation mandates, particularly during IPO preparation, international expansion and CEO succession.

At weekends, Anca prototypes with AI, reimagining how intelligent systems can reshape the way organisations run. Outside of that, yoga keeps her (mostly) balanced, and long walks with her five-year-old doodle, Louie, are a reliable reminder that not everything in life can be optimised.

Earlier in her career, she was a management consultant with a London-based strategy firm and previously held advisory and leadership roles in intellectual property law and innovation management.

Anca holds a B.Eng. in Computer Engineering from McGill University and an MBA from INSEAD.
