Tech Leaders Meet-Up 2024
We recently hosted an intimate Tech Leaders Meet-Up event for twenty Chief Technology Officers and Engineering leaders from companies including Trainline, Spendesk, Meta, Bloom & Wild, Expedia, Meta, Moonpig, Shopify and Snyk. It was an inspiring evening of networking and insight sharing with this diverse and talented group.
We were privileged to hear from some fantastic speakers: Pat Poels, Rich Rosenberg, Milena Nikolic and Nicola Bortignon. Pat kicked off proceedings, discussing the challenges of hypergrowth and what happens when the rules suddenly pivot on a dime and the sole focus becomes profitability. Following Pat, Rich discussed the journey from CTO to CPTO and presented the benefits and pitfalls of bringing tech and product under the same umbrella.
After a networking break, speeches resumed with Milena discussing how to implement goaling and structure into the day to day of CTOS to increase productivity at a personal and team level. Finally, Nicola rounded off the evening by discussing where AI is going from here and the current state of the union.
Thanks again to everyone who attended who exchanged ideas, debated problems and forged new connections. We look forward to hosting other Tech and Product meet-ups to continue to contribute to the growth of the tech community in London.
